I thought this look fun

I took this from a blog and you know who you are! but it look sorta fun!

Father went to college : No but he did go in the service to find out he couldn't serve as he was flat footed.

Father finished college:

Mother went to college – No she had married my father at sixteen because he was going into the service

Mother finished college;

Have any relative who is an attorney, physician, or professor – I have a sister Jackie who is a Paralegal hope that's close enough

Had more than 50 books in your childhood home : maybe , But my sister Jackie many times would put a little skit on for us when we were little to get us to go to bed.

Had more than 500 books in your childhood home:

Were read children’s books by a parent: Don't remember a parent but my sister Jackie did

Had lessons of any kind before you turned 18 : I took accordion lesson through my grade school in the auditorium for about four years!

The people in the media who dress and talk like me are portrayed positively :

Had a credit card with your name on it before you turned 18 – Married at seventeen I got my first credit card at sears! Bought a TV

Your parents (or a trust) paid for the majority of your college costs – Married so hubby paid for a three week course at a technical school

Went to a private high school

Went to summer camp – Yes for three summers I went to a covenant camp with the church and it was up by sawyer! I enjoyed it !

Had a private tutor before you turned 18; Yes I had a tutor for three months because I was out of school for being pregnant! My grades went up to A’s

Family vacations involved staying at hotels – We took many trips when I was a young girl! Went to east coast to Virginia and to Florida and to California But we stayed in tent and didn't use a hotel! All nine of us fit in that tent!

Your clothing was all bought new before you turned 18 – most of our clothing was new but we shared our clothing between the four sisters! That way we had more outfits

Your parents bought you a car that was not a hand-me-down from them :Nope never got a car but got to use my dads work car! I rolled it over and ruined it when I was fifteen!

There was original art in your house when you were a child – sure was there were many drawings from all of the little ones me and my sister and one brother

Had a phone in your room before you turned 18 –No , it just isn't heard of back then

You and your family lived in a single family house :Yes we had three bedrooms and one bathroom My poor dad with all us girls do you think he ever got to use it! He did build two more bedrooms in the basement

Your parent(s) owned their own house or apartment before you left home Yes they did

Participated in an SAT/ACT prep course – No as I had no interest in going to college at the time

Had your own TV in your room in High School No way we just didn't have the money for it so we all fought over what we would watch! One sister had one in her room because she worked and bought one

Owned a mutual fund or IRA in High School or College –No way who could afford that

Flew anywhere on a commercial airline before you turned 16 :Never flew till I was over twenty five years old!

Went on a cruise with your family: Nope I get seasick

Went on more than one cruise with your family

Your parents took you to museums and art galleries as you grew up: I don’t think they even knew what culture was back then! But they took us to caves in Montana or Wyoming and to some state parks like Yellowstone

You were unaware of how much heating bills were for your family – Yes I was! We heated with oil forced air and never did I realized how much it cost to heat the house! Until married I then found out and boy was there a rude awakening!
